Hyundai Accent FREE Run – April 2, 2011

Almost forgot to publish my blog in Hyundai Accent free-run which was truly a great free fun-run with an enormous crowd gathered in the historic Quirino Grandstand. According to the report that it reaches 24,000 runners joined in this marvelous event.

I belong to wave B and wore my nike compression short and nike cap but preferred to stick to my friends in wave C. The starting line was in Bahay Pambata across Kalaw st. U-turn for 10k was in Edsa and finish line in Quirino Granstand.

Along Roxas Blvd. you could see a green marshals filing at the center of the boulevard and ample personalized bottled water in the hydration stations. You could also see the presence of PNP personnel, enough ambulance and medics.

Truly a clean and very organized run!

  1. Hyundai and Kia have experienced phenomenal growth over the past few years, even as the rest of the auto industry was embroiled in an ugly downturn. In fact, 2011 was a terrific year for the Korean automaker, as sales jumped by double digits globally. But while Hyundai/Kia has been on fire of late, Reuters reports that company officials feel that 2012 isn't likely to return the same gains.
